Mark Ong

Mark Ong has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as CIO of Global Equities and Co-Head of the Technology Business Group at GIC since December 2012. Previously, Mark held the position of CIO at Barker Investment Management from 2009 to November 2012 and was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Mark worked as a Credit Portfolio Manager at Alphadyne Asset Management from 2005 to 2007 and was Head of Global Credit at GIC from 1996 to 2005. Mark obtained a BBA in Finance from the National University of Singapore (1992-1995) and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2019.
