Markus Doerrie

Markus Doerrie, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President in Real Estate Investment and Portfolio Strategy at GIC since January 2015. In this role, Markus drives the pan-European investment strategy by analyzing and forecasting property markets across various regions and making investment recommendations to senior management and the global investment committee. Prior to GIC, Markus held several positions at AXA Investment Managers and T. Rowe Price, focusing on market research and competitor analysis. Early career experiences include roles at Bfinance UK Ltd. and BASF SE, where quantitative and qualitative analysis of fund managers and product management were conducted. Markus holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, along with a BSc in International Business Administration and an MBA in Management from the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, respectively.
