Rui Yang

Rui Yang currently serves as Vice President of IT Audit at GIC since July 2023, following a career that spans multiple roles in the banking and technology sectors. Previously, Rui held positions such as Senior Manager of Internal Audit at Green Link Digital Bank and Audit Manager at DBS Bank, where expertise in COBIT 5, banking application architecture, and information security was developed. An Audit Manager and Business Analyst at OCBC Bank, Rui also contributed to banking IT architecture and project management. In addition, experience includes leadership in non-profit banking project management initiatives at AVTECH China PM Workshop and foundational roles in mainframe development at CSTS. Academia includes a Master’s in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Wuhan University and Wuhan University of Technology, respectively, along with various professional certifications in ITIL, ISACA, and PMI.
