Shaun Thium currently serves as AVP of IT Risk Management at GIC since January 2024. Previously, Shaun held positions at Deloitte from July 2021 to December 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team in developing Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructures and conducting webinars on Zero-Trust best practices. Shaun received the Deloitte SEA Risk Advisory InvigoRAte Trailblazer Award for notable contributions. Before Deloitte, Shaun was a Cybersecurity Specialist at GovTech Singapore, where key achievements included architecting in-house security products and developing cybersecurity policy standards. Shaun's early experience includes various software engineering internships and a degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
