Waleed Abed has accumulated extensive experience in the real estate sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Real Estate at GIC since April 2016, following roles as Vice President and Assistant Vice President within the same field. Prior to GIC, Waleed worked at Mubadala from September 2013 to March 2016 as an Associate and Senior Analyst, focusing on direct real estate investments in the US and Europe. Waleed began a career in investment banking at Credit Suisse as an Analyst from July 2011 to August 2013, concentrating on mergers and acquisitions in real estate. Waleed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 2007 and 2011.
