Yang Hu

Yang Hu is an experienced analyst currently participating in the GIC Professionals Programme at GIC since July 2023. Previously, Yang served as a venture analyst at Wallet Max, conducting research on a fintech B2B application focused on ESG business growth and quantifying the SaaS market. Yang's experience includes roles as an investment banking intern at CITIC Securities Company Limited and a data scientist intern at KPMG US, where a flood classifier CNN model was developed. Additionally, Yang worked as an analyst at Rights Colab, utilizing big data and machine learning to establish ESG standards, and excelled as a forensic consulting intern at Ernst & Young, where significant investigative work was performed. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Management from The University of Queensland.
