Luka Pevec

Robotic Software Team Lead at Gideon

Luka Pevec has worked as a Robotics Engineer and later as a Robotic Software Team Lead at Gideon since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Python programmer at AVL in July and August 2016. Luka also gained experience at Palunko d.o.o., where they aided in teaching math and physics for elementary and high school from January 2013 to May 2015.

Luka Pevec's education history is as follows:

Luka earned a Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering and Automation from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu in the field of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Luka attended this institution from 2012 to 2015.

Luka then pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Luka completed their Master's degree program from 2015 to 2017.

During their Master's degree studies, Luka also enrolled in a program at Technische Universität Wien, where they continued their studies in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, as well as Computer Science. This program took place from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Luka has obtained several certifications. Luka completed a course titled "Introduction to R" from DataCamp in April 2017, for which they received a Statement of Accomplishment.

Luka also obtained a C1.2 level certification in English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) from Eureka, school of Foreign Languages in February 2016.

Furthermore, Luka achieved an intermediate level of German fluency, estimated through the Duolingo platform, in August 2015.

Lastly, Luka received recognition for their participation in the "Pametne kuće - moderna i učinkovita rasvjeta" project, earning third place and a bronze award from EESTEC LC Zagreb in May 2014.
