Peter Fäustle

Peter Fäustle has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as Director and Head of R&D Strategy at Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology since September 2008. Previously held various directorial roles including Head of System Test, Processes and Tools, and Head of System Technology, Research and Development at the same company. Prior to this, Peter worked at Nokia Siemens Networks, managing product portfolios in telecommunication networks from April 2006 to September 2008, and served in multiple leadership capacities at Siemens from June 1994 to March 2006, including Head of Project Management and Quality Management, as well as Head of Software Development. Peter's early career included roles as Software Architect, Software Engineer, and Systems Engineer, with a strong focus on mobile networks and network management software. Peter holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and furthered education at Politecnico di Milano.
