Wolfram Seidemann

Dr. Wolfram Seidemann is CEO of the Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology GmbH. He was appointed Group Executive Banknote at Giesecke+Devrient GmbH in November 2016. Prior to that, he was Chairman of the Management Board of Papierfabrik Louisenthal and Division Head Paper after having been responsible for Sales and Marketing of Banknote Processing Systems worldwide.

Seidemann joined G+D in 1999 as Head of International Research and Development Chipcard. He subsequently held various senior management positions at G+D subsidiaries, among them Managing Director Giesecke+Devrient Asia in Singapore, President of G+D Teco Taiwan, Taipei and Member of the Board Giesecke+Devrient India, New Delhi.

Before joining G+D, Seidemann worked for the Economics Department of the Technical University Munich as Head of R&D- and Innovation Management and as an industry consultant in this area. Seidemann studied Electrical Engineering and Business Administration, and holds a doctor’s degree in Innovations Management from the Technical University of Munich.
