Most people spend years figuring out what they're actually wired to do. Nearly a third of college students change their major within three years of enrollment. The average American holds 12 different jobs over their lifetime. That's not a personal failing. It's what happens when no one helps you understand yourself before asking you to choose a direction.
GiftMatch Compass was built to change that.
We're EverRoad Pathways LLC, a Columbus, Ohio based startup founded by two former educators who lived this problem firsthand. One spent 15 years in classrooms and school leadership watching capable people make major life decisions based on pressure and guesswork. The other made a career switch from education into software and knows what it actually takes to rebuild from scratch.
GiftMatch Compass is an AI-powered career discovery platform that maps how you actually think, work, and grow across 7 behavioral dimensions. The result is a unique trait fingerprint drawn from 16,384 possible combinations, a named archetype, and up to six career matches backed by real labor market data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET.
The report goes deep. Users get a personal narrative, strengths and blind spots, past role reflections graded by fit, and full career deep dives with salary bands, credential requirements, growth outlook, day in the life, and actionable next steps.
For schools and organizations we offer a Site License with counselor and administrator dashboards, group trait distribution views, student engagement tracking, and AI-generated conversation starters personalized to each student's profile.
We also offer a Coach suite with resume building, interview prep, live job boards, and skills development tools for users who are ready to act on their results.
GiftMatch Compass is not a personality quiz. It's a behavioral map to careers that actually fit you.
