Matthew Gleed

Matthew Gleed has extensive experience in the telecommunications and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Field Engineering at Gigaclear since November 2015, with previous roles including Head of Build, Programme Manager, Project Manager, Deployment Manager, and Service Delivery Manager. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Field Operations Manager at AFL Services Europe Ltd and as a Project Manager at Talkwire. Additional experience includes roles as a Fibre Engineer and Installations Supervisor, along with a history as Team Leader/Telecoms Engineer and Telecommunications Service Technician. Matthew holds multiple qualifications, including a City and Guilds Level 2 in Electrical Installation from Filton College, a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Computing and Networking from the City of Bristol College, and a City and Guilds certification in Optical Fibre Installation and Testing from Fujikura, complemented by five GCSEs (A-C) from Rednock Secondary School.
