Joel Stephens

Joel Stephens has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Joel began their career in 1987 with the National Football League Players Association, where they worked as an Agent Certification. From 1988 to 1999, Joel served as the President of Advantage Promotions, managing the business and its operations.

In 1999, Joel joined SalesTrax as a Senior Account Manager/Recruiter. In this role, they were responsible for prospecting new accounts and recruiting for over 100 companies, including Merck, Sprint, and American Express. Joel had a successful partnership with Merck in 2006-2007, serving as their primary source for over 600 hires.

In 2009, Joel worked as a Business Solutions Specialist for Premiere Global Services, offering solutions in audio and web conferencing. Joel then joined Backyard Living Pools and Spas as a Major Accounts Representative, handling inside sales and managing major accounts. During their time there, they were also involved in prospecting for new clients and was responsible for hiring and training new staff.

From 2010 to 2016, Joel worked at FishNet Security, initially as a Senior Lead Agent and later as a Customer Care Agent - Renewals. Joel played a significant role in the merger of Accuvant and FishNet Security, leading to the creation of Optiv Security in 2015. As a Sales Development Representative at Optiv Security from 2016 to 2021, Joel made daily outbound calls and emails, maintained inbound leads, and collaborated with client managers and marketing teams to achieve company goals.

In 2021, Joel joined Lightstream - Cloud & Connectivity Solutions as a Sales Development Representative before transitioning to their current role as a Business Development Representative - SLED at Gigamon in 2022. Throughout their career, Joel exhibited strong sales and business development skills, consistently exceeding company goals and establishing successful business relationships.

Joel Stephens attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 1981 to 1985. During this time, they pursued a degree in Journalism with a focus on English.
