Tim Christie has a strong background in sales and account management. Tim currently holds the position of Senior Regional Sales Director at Gigamon since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Splunk from July 2022 to August 2023. From August 2021 to July 2022, Tim worked as an Enterprise Account Executive at Riverbed Technology. Tim also gained valuable experience at Oracle, where they served as a Key Account Manager - Cloud Technology from August 2018 to July 2021. In this role, they achieved 145 percent of their target by selling a disruptive cloud solution to a large energy giant. Tim's earlier experience includes roles such as Account Manager at Dimension Data from May 2015 to August 2018, Business Development Manager at 2e2 from January 2011 to February 2013, and Sales Director/Owner at Bluesky Communications from January 2005 to January 2011. During their tenure at Bluesky Communications, they won three awards for high achievement and was recognized as the top UK dealer for Opal telecom.
Tim Christie attended Northumbria University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a BSc Honours degree in Business Systems Information Technology. In addition to their degree, Tim has also obtained certifications in Learning LinkedIn Sales Navigator from LinkedIn in July 2022 and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate from Oracle in August 2020.
