Jason Landrum

VP, Infrastructure & Cyber Security at GigaTECH

Jason Landrum is a Texas-born entrepreneur who has spent twenty of his twenty-six-year career as an IT professional in the Network Engineering and Collaboration Engineering spaces. Mr. Landrum has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration from Colorado Technical University.

Mr. Landrum’s early career was spent implementing small LAN/WAN environments as a contractor, this included desktop and server support as well as the router switch infrastructure and connectivity. With this foundation Mr. Landrum was able to grow his technical expertise in the financial space engineering complex redundant environments at Nations Bank (now Bank of America) and Fidelity Investments. Mr. Landrum’s network background evolved as audio/video applications were quickly moving to the IP infrastructure. Real time protocols in the early 2000’s was a new very high demanding application that required LAN/WAN environments to evolve to support. Mr. Landrum’s experience migrating these cutting-edge technologies led him to become the lead Video over IP engineer at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) where he designed and implemented the video over IP infrastructure that allowed MDA to fundamentally evolve their global collaboration strategy.

Mr. Landrum’s extensive technical background, and exposure to very successful technology companies, inspired him to become a founding member Marland Technologies, now DBA Gigatech, Inc. in 2012. As a founding member Mr. Landrum has had the responsibility of all positions in the executive suite, while also guiding his employees with his technical background. Mr. Landrum’s unique background as a technologist, and entrepreneur has positioned him and his organization to deliver ever evolving IT solutions.
