Dan Hudson

Dan Hudson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dan is the Founder & CEO of gigl, a video-based recruitment platform that aims to reshape the recruitment market by providing a fast, efficient, and fun hiring process. Prior to gigl, they worked as an Investor and Advisor for GSD Capital Ltd, where they contributed to multiple projects. Dan also served as the Global Head of Markets Recruitment / Talent Acquisition for BNY Mellon, overseeing activities across front and back offices. Before that, they were the COO & Head of Commodity Markets Search for Execuzen, a top search firm specializing in Energy, Commodities, and Environmental markets. Early in their career, they worked as a Commodity Markets Analyst for Dow Jones News group. In addition, they have participated in growth programs at London & Partners and Google for Startups.

Dan Hudson attended Y Combinator from 2019 to 2020, where they completed the 2019/2020 Startup School program. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued an Msc in Land Management at Harper Adams University. Earlier, from 2000 to 2004, they earned a BA (HONS) degree in Business Management and Marketing from the same university.
