Deon Steyn

Deon Steyn is a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership across various companies. Currently employed at Gigs since March 2022, Deon contributes to building innovative solutions for phone and data subscription sales. Prior to this, Deon served as Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Prodigy Finance, where responsibilities included mentoring junior developers, participating in system audits, and developing REST APIs and web applications in payment and loan management. Deon’s earlier career includes a significant role as Senior Software Development Engineer at CSG International, focusing on scalable telecommunications billing systems, and software development at Altech ISIS. Deon holds a Bachelor's degree and a National Diploma in Information Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
