Danny Theis has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Danny is currently the CEO of Gigset, a platform that enables immersive and interactive live entertainment experiences from home. Prior to this, they worked at LiveLike, where they focused on bringing innovative sports viewing experiences to users through live streaming and immersive technology.
Throughout their career, Danny has also held roles at Vigiti AB as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on go-to-market strategies and growth services for companies targeting the Nordic Market. At Moretime, they served as a Management Consultant, providing strategic consulting on marketing strategies for growth-oriented SMEs and coaching digital health startups.
Earlier in their career, Danny was the Co-owner and Head of Growth at Global Text AB, where they played a pivotal role in growing a translation agency. Danny also worked as the Nordic Regional Director at LoudVision Marketing & Public Relations Ltd, managing marketing strategies and activities for top gaming brands.
Additionally, Danny gained valuable experience as the Head of Product - Poker at Betsson Ltd, overseeing the launch, development, and growth of the poker product. Danny also worked at Cision, focusing on new business sales in the IT and gaming sectors, and at Intel Corporation as the Nordic Retail Sales Manager, where they successfully increased market share and built a retail sales team.
Before venturing into these roles, Danny started their career as a Sales Manager at Hallsten & Partners Consulting AB, specializing in network technology and the migration to Microsoft Exchange Server solutions.
Danny Theis attended Macquarie University from 2000 to 2001 where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship. In 2002, they enrolled at Alliant International University for one year to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business.
