Partner — Director Of Artificial Intelligence, Information Management, And E-discovery at Gilbert LLP

Todd Itami began their work experience in 2013 as a Judicial Clerk for Justice Jeff Boyd at The Supreme Court of Texas. In 2014, they joined Gilbert LLP as an Associate, and then in 2015, they moved to Covington & Burling LLP as an Associate. Over the years, they took on different roles at Covington & Burling LLP, including Special Counsel and Vice Chair of E-Discovery, AI, and Information Governance. In 2023, they returned to Gilbert LLP as a Partner and assumed the position of Director of Artificial Intelligence, Information Management, and E-Discovery.

Todd Itami attended Marsh Valley High School, where they obtained their high school diploma. Todd then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a biochemistry focus at Idaho State University from 2001 to 2008. Following this, Todd attended the University of Chicago Law School, where they earned their Doctor of Law degree from 2010 to 2013. Todd Itami also holds memberships in various legal entities, including the District of Columbia Bar, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
