Jim Powers is currently the Director of Human Resources at Gildan, where they oversee human resources for yarn manufacturing. They have held previous roles as Manager of Human Resources at ARAUCO - North America from 2016 to 2020, and as Director of Human Resources at both Frontier Spinning Mills, Inc. from 1996 to 2006 and Pioneer Yarns/Unifi, Inc. from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, Jim was a Managing Partner at COBRA Direct Services, Inc. from 2006 to 2016. They have been SPHR certified since 2001 and are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology at East Carolina University.
