Aditya Murthy

Aditya Murthy is a cancer immunologist and discovery scientist specializing in the molecular mechanisms underlying inflammation. They earned a Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto and have held positions such as Director of Immuno-oncology at Gilead Sciences and Senior Scientist at Genentech. Aditya has contributed to significant research internships focused on autoimmunity, diabetes, and tumor biology, and has been involved in teaching at the graduate level. Their current research interests include innate immunity, chronic inflammation, and the role of autophagy in disease.
