Alan Harney

Alan Harney has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Finance Manager and previously as Senior Accountant II at Gilead Sciences since February 2013. Responsibilities include ERP implementation, consolidations, project management, cost analysis, process improvement, and people management. Prior to this role, Alan worked at Boston Scientific as a Cost & Management Accountant and Financial Accountant from January 2009 to February 2013, and at Fitzpatrick Consulting as an Accountant from February 2005 to December 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Management with a focus on Business Strategy from the University of Limerick, a Lean Sigma Green Belt from Munster Technological University, an associate membership with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick.
