Alexis Simpson

Alexis Simpson is an Associate General Counsel specializing in Patent Strategy & Analytics at Gilead Sciences, Inc., where they focus on competitive intelligence and strategic positioning for both small and large molecule portfolios. With over 15 years of experience, Alexis has developed a rare multidisciplinary practice emphasizing patent prosecution, litigation, and licensing. They were a founding member of Gilead's Legal and Compliance Artificial Intelligence Working Group. Previously, Alexis held roles at Troutman Sanders LLP, Finnegan, and Meunier Carlin & Curfman, where they managed patent prosecution and provided strategic counseling for major pharmaceutical and technology companies. Alexis earned a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and a B.S. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
