Bob Scott

Bob Scott is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President of Global External Manufacturing at Gilead Sciences since April 2008. Prior to this role, Bob held the position of Director of Chemistry at BioVerdant from April 2006 to April 2008, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of scalable process routes utilizing strategic enzyme-mediated transformations. Bob's earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Research Fellow at Pfizer from May 1997 to April 2006, focusing on process research and development for scalable syntheses of pharmaceutically-active clinical candidates. Bob earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of California, Davis.
