Cezara Ion

Cezara Ion (Caruntu) is currently the Business Unit Director for Oncology at Gilead Sciences, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Cezara worked at Roche as a Squad Value Owner for both One Oncology and Oncology and held various managerial roles in oncology and hematology at companies such as Novartis Oncology, Sandoz, and GlaxoSmithKline. Cezara earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pharmacy "Grigore T. Popa" in Iasi, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Early in their career, they gained experience as a Medical Representative at GSK and as a Product Specialist at Merck.
