Daniel Montoya

Daniel Montoya is currently the Director of Government Affairs and Policy for the FOCUS Program at Gilead Sciences, where they lead public health initiatives addressing the HIV and Hepatitis epidemics across multiple states. With prior roles including Executive Director of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS and Director of External Affairs at the American Institutes for Research, Daniel has extensive experience in public health and healthcare across public, private, and non-profit sectors. They have collaborated with numerous stakeholders to advance health equity and improve health outcomes for communities. Daniel earned a degree from The University of Texas at Austin's LBJ School of Public Affairs.
