Darin Allen

Darin Allen has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director and Head of Technical Operations for API Pilot Plants at Gilead Sciences since July 2008. In this role, Darin Allen oversees the successful tech transfer of projects from the bench to the pilot plant. Previously, Darin Allen held positions as Associate Director and Research Scientist II at Gilead, where responsibilities included optimizing and developing small molecule processes for clinical projects and leading project teams. Prior experience includes roles as a Medicinal Chemist at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, Axys Pharmaceuticals, and Roche Palo Alto. Darin Allen earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 1992.
