Darin Gustin

Darin Gustin currently serves as the Director of Analytical Development and Operations at Gilead Sciences, a position held since April 2015. Prior to this role, Darin founded and managed Purisima Scientific, LLC, a private consulting firm specializing in medicinal and analytical chemistry, from July 2013 to April 2015. Darin's extensive experience in pharmaceutical chemistry was further established during a tenure at Amgen from November 2004 to January 2012, where contributions included advancements in drug discovery and leadership of medicinal chemistry teams. Academic credentials include a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington, a BS in Chemistry from Washington State University, and post-doctoral fellowship training at Scripps Research under the guidance of Donald Hilvert.
