Darryl Dixon has extensive experience in process chemistry, holding roles from Principal Scientist II to Senior Research Scientist at Gilead Sciences from January 2018 to January 2022. Prior to Gilead, Darryl worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb from April 2015 to January 2018 as a Senior Research Investigator I and earlier as a Research Investigator II. Between June 2012 and April 2015, Darryl served as a Scientist at Peloton Therapeutics, focusing on the synthesis of small molecules for oncology applications. Darryl gained postdoctoral experience at The Scripps Research Institute from January 2011 to June 2012 under the mentorship of Professor Phil S. Baran. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where Darryl conducted graduate research from January 2003 to December 2010 under Professor Marcus A. Tius.
