Darwin Thompson

Darwin Thompson is a seasoned leader in corporate giving and nonprofit management, currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Giving at Gilead Sciences since March 2018. Thompson manages a substantial $50 million annual grantmaking portfolio focused on HIV, developing comprehensive strategies for partnerships and community engagement. Previous roles include Executive Director at NAESM, Inc., where Thompson significantly increased the agency's budget and implemented strategic initiatives to combat HIV in Metro Atlanta. Thompson's early career includes various coordination and management positions within educational and community organizations, alongside extensive experience in grant writing and program development. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Morehouse College.
