David Lin

David Lin is a principal scientist at Gilead Sciences, specializing in medicinal chemistry with extensive experience in small molecule drug discovery. They previously held positions as a senior research scientist and research scientist at Gilead, as well as a scientist at the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and a senior scientist at Pfizer. David received their Ph.D. from The Scripps Research Institute after earning a B.S. with honors from Stanford University. They are also trained in natural products total synthesis and organic reaction development, and have public speaking and leadership experience with Toastmasters.
