David Simpson

David Simpson is a Senior Research Scientist I at Gilead Sciences, specializing in analytical chemistry and project management to support GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and product commercialization. David's prior experience includes serving as a post-doctoral research scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, and Virginia Commonwealth University, where they advanced techniques in proteomics and managed laboratory operations. David earned a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh and holds an MSc from the University of East Anglia and a BA from the University of Cambridge.
