Derek Wood

Derek Wood is an experienced human resources executive with a focus on strategic leadership within various sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources for R&D at Gilead Sciences since February 2016. Wood has held numerous HR leadership roles, including Executive Director for the HIV & Emerging Viruses & Development Operations and Senior Director for Development Operations at Gilead Sciences. Prior experience includes Vice President of Human Resources for the Industrial IT Division at Belden Inc., and Director of Human Resources at Grass Valley, where strategic guidance was provided to global operations.
