Ellen Shen

Ellen Shen is a seasoned professional in clinical development and regulatory affairs with over 10 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Project Management at Gilead Sciences. Since 2015, Ellen has led Research Operations to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among various teams, while managing regulatory submissions and vendor relationships. Prior to this role, they held several positions at Gilead Sciences, where they demonstrated expertise in managing complex regulatory processes and submissions across multiple therapeutic areas, including virology and oncology. Ellen is pursuing a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at Stony Brook University and holds a Project Management Certificate from UC Berkeley Extension, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University.
