Franco Llamas

Franco Llamas has a diverse background in biopharmaceuticals and organic chemistry, beginning with an internship at Diesel Forward, Inc., where video production skills were developed. An internship at PPD provided training in analytical methods and GMP documentation. Franco pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at UC Irvine, where responsibilities included developing synthetic plans and acting as a Teacher's Assistant for laboratory courses. Currently, Franco works as a Production Chemist at PolyPeptide Group, specializing in solid-phase peptide synthesis, and is advancing to a Senior Research Associate position at Gilead Sciences. Educational achievements include a Master's degree from UC Irvine and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where a strong academic performance in Japanese Studies and Biology was demonstrated.
