Gary Ryan

Gary Ryan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of R&D Portfolio Strategy & Analytics at Gilead Sciences since June 2019, Gary has held various roles in the company that include oversight of procedural documentation and process management. Previously, Gary was the Head of US Pharma & Labs Practice at EFESO from September 2015 to May 2019, contributing to company strategy and managing a team of consultants. Earlier in career, Gary worked at BSM as Manager of the Real Lean Practice, where the focus was on implementing Lean principles in Life Science environments. Gary holds a PhD in Chemistry and a BA in Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Aveta Business.
