Harmik Begi is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Global Head of IT for Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing at Gilead Sciences, Harmik is driving strategic transformation through the management of technology solutions across various business units. Prior to Gilead, Harmik held leadership roles at Merck, including Head of Digital Manufacturing and Executive Director of Information Technology, where the focus was on digital and analytics capabilities, enabling innovation and value in manufacturing processes. Harmik's career also includes significant contributions at Amgen, Baxter BioScience, and The Coca-Cola Company, emphasizing operations information systems, engineering management, and project execution. Harmik holds an MBA in Operations Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.
