John Austin

John Austin is currently the Director of Data Science at Gilead Sciences, where they leverage a decade of research experience in both academia and industry. They have a strong background in formulation and product development, utilizing machine learning methods in their work. Previously, John held various roles at Gilead Sciences, including Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist, and has experience as a tutor in chemistry and calculus. Educated at Purdue University, they earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a bachelor's degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
