John Chen

John Chen is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Gilead Sciences since September 2018. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Genentech from January 2006 to September 2018, including Senior Scientific Researcher and Lab Manager. John's career began at Schering-Plough Research Institute and included a tenure at Biogen as an Associate Scientist III. John started professional work as a Research Associate at NYU Langone Medical Center and served in the Taiwanese Army, managing vehicle maintenance and service as a Corporal. John holds a Master of Science in Biology from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from National Chung Hsing University.
