Lihui Wang

Lihui Wang is an accomplished immunologist currently working at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology at the University of Oxford, focusing on the cellular and molecular pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. Lihui earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Oxford, where research centered on the innate immune recognition mechanism using Drosophila melanogaster. Prior to this, Lihui contributed to significant discoveries in adaptive immunity during a postdoctoral stint at Imperial College London. With a foundation in biochemistry from Wuhan University, Lihui began their research career by developing a cost-effective endotoxin detection kit while at Gilead Sciences.
