MacKy Natha

Macky Natha currently serves as Vice President and Head of Virology and Inflammation in Global Medical Affairs at Gilead Sciences, a position held since September 2021. Previous roles at Gilead include Vice President for HIV Prevention and LIFE, as well as various senior positions in Medical Affairs related to liver diseases and HIV. Prior to Gilead's recent tenure, Macky Natha was Vice President of Clinical Research and Global Medical Affairs at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from February 2020 to September 2021. Macky Natha’s medical career began as a Consultant HIV Physician at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from 2008 to 2012 and included leading roles in HIV at St Francis Hospital in Zambia.
