Michael Diaz

Michael Diaz is a seasoned professional specializing in community health, HIV prevention, and capacity building. Currently serving as a Senior Community Liaison at Gilead Sciences, Michael has a robust background that includes roles such as Director of Programs and Training at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, where significant improvements in LGBTQ patient enrollment were achieved. Prior to this, Michael held a position as City Research Scientist II at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, contributing as a subject matter expert in health equity and HIV prevention. Additional experience includes training over 1,000 HIV workforce members at the Latino Commission on AIDS and coordinating youth programs at the Hispanic AIDS Forum. Michael holds an M.A. in Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Brown University.
