MJ Edwards is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and general counsel roles. Currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Gilead Sciences since March 2020, MJ previously held positions at the same company as Senior Counsel in Intellectual Property from 2012 to January 2020. Prior to Gilead, MJ worked at WilmerHale as Counsel in the Intellectual Property Department from 2002 to 2012. Earlier experience includes a role as Quality Control Supervisor at AutoImmune, Inc. in 1998-1999, and as a Bioanalytical Chemist at Eli Lilly from 1992 to 1998.
