Robert Seemayer is the Executive Director of Chemical Development and Manufacturing at Gilead Sciences, a position they have held since 2018. Previously, they served as Director of Chemical Development and Manufacturing at Gilead Sciences from 2009 to 2017 and held the role of Director, API Development and Manufacturing at CV Therapeutics from 2002 to 2009. Robert began their career as a Group Leader at Catalytica Pharmaceuticals, where they worked from 1995 to 2001, and also held a project management position at DSM Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2000 to 2001. They earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Bergische Universität Wuppertal and studied Organic Chemistry at the University of Warwick.
