Ryan Erickson has extensive experience in the fields of chemical engineering, biotechnology, and business operations. Beginning as an Instructor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Ryan conveyed complex scientific concepts to high school students and later worked as a Research Assistant investigating bioreactor conditions and antibody production. At EPFL, Ryan focused on 3D printing for tissue engineering applications. Subsequent roles at Merck Serono and Bend Research provided experience in downstream processing and nanoparticle research, respectively. At Genentech, Ryan excelled as an Innovation and Continuous Improvement Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, leading digital innovation projects and cross-functional teams. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. Currently, Ryan serves in senior roles at Gilead Sciences, overseeing pharmaceutical development and business strategy.
