Satish Kumar

Satish Kumar is a seasoned professional in the field of Analytical Research & Development, currently serving as a Director at Gilead Sciences since March 2016, leading a dedicated team. Prior to this role, Satish held positions at Sanofi as a Senior Research Scientist II from October 2012 to March 2016, where management of a group supported clinical development and regulatory approval projects. Experience also includes being an Associate Principal Scientist/Group Leader at Merck from November 2009 to October 2012, and a Senior Scientist/Associate Principal Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute from July 2003 to November 2009. An early career was spent as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1996. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Boston University, a BS in Chemistry from Delhi University, and an MS in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
