Sharon Lee

Sharon Lee, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Director of U.S. Controllership, Accounting Policy & Global Treasury Accounting at Gilead Sciences since September 2017, Sharon has previously held roles such as Director of Technical Accounting Operations and Associate Director of Technical Accounting at Gilead, focusing on advancing therapeutics in virology, oncology, and inflammation. Prior to Gilead, Sharon was Director of Financial Reporting at Colony Capital, Inc., overseeing SEC reporting and compliance for a large public REIT. Earlier career highlights include management positions at Moore Stephens Sydney and Armanino LLP, where financial statement audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance were key responsibilities. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of California, Riverside.
