Somer Smith

Somer Smith, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP, is a Principal Medical Scientist at Gilead Sciences, where they are currently leading research initiatives. Previously, Somer served as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at ViiV Healthcare and worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Emory University School of Medicine. They hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy and completed a post-graduate residency at the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine. Additionally, Somer has experience as a Director for the Perinatal HIV Services Program at the Georgia Department of Public Health and has contributed as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at South University College of Pharmacy.
