Stephen Ammann

Stephen Ammann is a Senior Research Scientist II at Gilead Sciences, with experience in medicinal chemistry since December 2017. Prior roles at Gilead Sciences include Senior Research Scientist I and Research Scientist. Stephen completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where, as a PhD candidate from August 2011 to September 2017, novel palladium catalysts and oxidation reactions were developed, and scientific communications were authored and published. Early academic experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at William & Mary from October 2007 to June 2011, focusing on bismuth-catalyzed reactions. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from William & Mary.
