Stephen Thompson

Stephen Thompson is a Senior Scientist at Gilead Sciences, specializing in formulation and process development. They previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they focused on increasing drug loading and dissolution performance of poorly-soluble drugs. During their time as a Graduate Intern at Eli Lilly and Company, they investigated the predictive capabilities of in vitro experiments for oral dosage forms. They also gained practical experience as an Industry Fellow at AustinPx, and as a Pharmacist, they ranked in the top 10% of productivity metrics while ensuring safe dispensing of prescriptions at Amazon. Stephen holds a PhD in Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery, as well as a PharmD from The University of Texas at Austin, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Chemistry from Tufts University.
