Tim Elford

Tim Elford is a Director and Process Chemist at Gilead Sciences, where they focus on the scale-up of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Previously, Tim held positions as a Research Scientist I and Senior Research Scientist I at Gilead, building on extensive experience in medicinal chemistry from various research roles at organizations such as Welichem Biotech, Shire Biochem, and the University of Bristol. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from Simon Fraser University and completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Alberta.
